Luz Cruz is a talented artist with a formal art education and is self taught across various techniques, styles and mediums. She became a Professional Face Painter and Glitter Tattoo Artist more than 5 years ago while working full-time at FAO Schwarz and Toy’s R Us Times Square in New York City.
Artists are available as vendors and independent contractors for all of your special events in New York City and Georgia. We work on national holidays because our Artists chase that bag $. How far in advance should I book?
We are available every day even on national holidays! (Our artists chase that bag $$) Weekend appointments are filled quickly so we recommend booking at least two months ahead of time especially during the summer and holidays. We specialize in last minute requests and will do our best to help you find you an artist to accommodate your event.
Travel fees take into consideration driving time, gas and distance when the event is more than 20 miles from 30076 (Georgia) or 10454 (New York) and is generally per Artist. All parking fees associated with an event must be paid to the artist with the balance due. Should a check be returned, Client is responsible for any returned check fees of $35.00 and any court fees associated with the collection of an unpaid balance.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, 50% of the total amount is due within seven days of the initial booking date. Your reservation is not secured and can be given away until a deposit is received. The Client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the painter has arrived at the event location, even if it is raining. Please list an alternate indoor location as we do not offer refunds due to inclement weather.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash is the preferred method of payment. We also accept Cash App and can provide you with an Invoice. Business and personal checks are accepted if paying before the event date, there is a $35 fee for all returned checks. No transaction fees are charged on credit/debit card payments including MasterCard, Discover, Visa and American Express.
Can I tip the artist?
Tipping is encouraged!
What about last minute bookings?
We specialize in last minute bookings but if an event is scheduled within seven days we ask that the full payment be made at the time of booking.
Can adults participate?
We love when adults let their imagination run wild; but please let the kids go first.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your event is 100% Non-Refundable but the deposit will be applied to future reservations. The Client agrees to pay the full amount contracted once the painter has arrived at the event location, even if it is raining. Please list an alternate indoor location as we do not offer refunds due to inclement weather.
Do I need to provide anything for set up?
Client agrees to provide bathroom facilities, a well lighted, cool shaded place to work away from the extreme temperatures of the sun, rain, snow and excessive wind. Indoors is preferred because the theatrical makeup melts in the sun. If it is an outdoor event, please provide a tent or we will provide a 10 x 10 tent for a nominal Rental Fee of $50. Minimum of a 4-6 ft rectangular/square table and 1 chair. If not available I can bring 1 table and 2 chairs to your event at no cost. We will need 15 minutes to set up/take down.

Do I need provide a room for the performance?
Please be considerate and don’t place the entertainer near the DJ and speakers. It is important to create a space where all the guests can enjoy all the activities.
